Brethren, We Have Met to Worship

[G]Brethren, we have [D]met to worship [G]and adore the L[D]ord our [G]God;
[G]Will you pray with[D] all your power, [G]while we try to p[D]reach the [G]Word?
[G]All is vain unl[D]ess the Spirit [G]of the Holy O[D]ne comes down;
[G]Brethren, pray, and [D]holy blessings [G]will be showered [D]all a[G]round.

[G]Brethren, see poor [D]sinners round you [G]slumbering on the b[D]rink of [G]woe;
[G]Death is coming, [D]hell is moving, [G]can you bear to [D]let them[G] go?
[G]See our fathers a[D]nd our mothers, [G]and our children [D]sinking down;
[G]Brethren, pray and [D]holy blessings w[G]ill be showered [D]all a[G]round.

[G]Sisters, will you j[D]oin and help us? [G]Moses' sister [D]aided h[G]im;
[G]Will you help the [D]trembling mourners [G]who are struggling [D]hard with [G]sin?
[G]Tell them all ab[D]out the Savior, [G]tell them that He [D]will be found;
[G]Sisters, pray, and [D]holy blessings [G]will be showered [D]all ar[G]ound.

[G]Then He'll call us [D]home to Heaven, [G]at His table we[D]'ll sit down;
